Wattle

We have seasoned this wood for a minimum of 12 months before we cut and split to ensure it burns clean and hot for winter. Get in early and secure your wood for winter  - store it well and you will have blazing hot fires and bone dry wood coming into winter next year.

Wattle is a Hardwood of the Acacia Family from Australia. It has similar burning properties to eucalyptus (gum) species, and has a slightly lower wood density. It burns relatively slow but very hot. Some people refer Wattle as the economical alternative to Tea Tree.

This slow clean burning wood is also popular for pizza ovens and for cooking over. it produces plenty of heat and very little ash.

Minimum order for FREE delivery is 2 cubic metres.  You can mix and match the wood types to make your order up to 2 cubic metres.

This wood is well seasoned and logs have been down for two years. It is hand loaded to ensure it is both dry and clean when it is delivered to you.
